A 43 year old Munford man was arrested Monday afternoon in
Coldwater on burglary charges. Talladega
county sheriffs deputies along with the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department and
the U.S. Marshals arrested Christopher Lynn Sullivan, on a third-degree
burglary charge stemming from the July 12th burglary of a home on Cheaha Road in Munford. Investigators said He caused extensive damage
inside the home during the course of the break-in and that There were several
objects taken from the residence that were later recovered in Calhoun County
the same day. Investigators said Sullivan
broke several doors and windows valued at $1,400 and caused damage to a police
scanner valued at $400 and a computer tower valued at $150. He also is accused of stealing assorted
tools, assorted coins valued two cordless phones valued before leaving the
residence in the owner’s white 2011 Chevrolet Camaro. Investigators said Sullivan had a prior
history with property crimes and was
recently paroled from prison, having been out two to two-and-a-half months.
