Anniston police arrested an Anniston man on domestic
violence charges early monday morning after he allegedly cut his younger
brother with a razor. Police say that 61
year old Fred Lee Duncan Jr., 61, of
Anniston, and his 53-year-old brother got into an argument around midnight at
their McKleroy Avenue home when the argument escalated. During the argument, Duncan allegedly cut his
brother’s face with a razor. The cut started on the man’s left ear and ended at
his collarbone, the captain said. The razor severed the victim’s temporal
artery, causing the man to lose a large amount of blood. He was taken to
Stringfellow Memorial Hospital for treatment and is expected to recover from his
injury. Police charged Duncan with
felony first-degree domestic violence shortly after the incident. Duncan was in
the Calhoun County Jail Monday afternoon under a $60,000 bond.
