Hokes Bluff man killed in one vehicle accident

Alabama state troopers say a  51-year-old Hokes Bluff man died Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash in Etowah County.  Troopers say Gregory Ramon Sanford, the driver of a 2002 Chevrolet S-10, was killed when his vehicle left the road and struck a ditch. The crash occurred on U-S. 278 three miles east of Hokes Bluff.  Sanford was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. The crash remains under investigation.
