
A man sought by police in connection with the assault on an
Anniston man with a shovel earlier this week has turned himself in to police.

year old Michael Randall Taylor Jr., of Ashland, has been charged with felony
second-degree assault.
Taylor is accused
of striking a 28-year-old man with a shovel Monday on Museum Drive in LaGarde
Park, The victim, who was doing work for a plumbing company at the time of the
incident, told police he did not know Taylor.
The victim was treated at Regional Medical Center for a cut on his forehead,
which required 10 stitches.
Taylor was
released from Anniston City Jail on a $7,500 bond.
