Anniston Police searching for suspect in overnight shootings

Anniston police say that an Anniston man is facing multiple charges after multiple overnight shooting incidents.  According to Captain Alan George, officers are searching the suspect who fired shots at multiple women and assaulted his girlfriend on Glen Addie in Anniston overnight.  George said the suspect got into an argument with his girlfriend and shot out the tv, he then got into an argument with 3 other females at the apartment complex and fired shots at them dropping his guns as he left the scene.  The suspects mother went behind him retrieving the weapons and spent cartridges.  George said she may face charges of hindering prosecution.  George said the suspect later returned to the scene and again assaulted his girlfriend inside a vehicle, when she got out of the vehicle and went into the aprartment, the suspect then shot up the unoccupied vehicle and fired shots at two other females.  When apprehended, the suspect will face 2 misdemeanor and 5 felony charges.
