Gadsden Youth Advisory Council holds first meeting

The Gadsden city council’s  newly created  Youth Advisory Council met for the first time Wednesday receiving some good news that the Boys & Girls Club will be coming back as an after-school program with the start of school.   Joanne Hightower, executive director of the United Way of Etowah County said  that national Boys & Girls Club officials told her Wednesday morning an after-school program is planned.
