Ohatchee burglary arrests

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s office has charged three people in connection witt the January burglary of an Ohatchee home.. Authorities say Derek Tate, Michael Young and Summer Edgeworth broke into a man’s home taking his television and prescription drugs. The victim told police before the burglary he had a phone conversation with one of the suspects telling them he was not home. When he got back to his house he found his back window broken and the TV and prescription drugs were gone. Calhoun County Sargent Jon Garlick says even though the crime happened months ago there wasn’t enough evidence to issue warrants until Wednesday. Young and Edgeworth were already in the Calhoun County jail on other felony charges. Tate was released last week on bond.
