I 20 traffic stop leads to drug bust

A routine traffic stop by Heflin police early Thursday morning on Interstate 20 resulted in the arrest of two people on drug trafficking charges.  36 year old  Jeffrey Lamar Ramsey,  and  27 year old Ashley Danielle Andrew, 27, both of Birmingham, were charged after officers discovered 11.5 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle they were driving.

The two were being held in Cleburne County Jail Friday with $500,000 bond.
