New business comming to Anniston

Hibbett Sporting Goods has announced they will be opening a new 4,200 square foot store in the Anniston area.   Company officials say The store should be open before school starts, and is planned for Anniston Plaza, at the intersection of U.S. 431 and Alabama 21. The national sports retail chain anticipates employing eight part-time and full-time employees at this location. The company says the location will serve the area between its Jacksonville and Oxford locations.

Hibbett operates more than 880 sporting goods stores, mostly in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest.
