Suspect arrrested in death of woman found in Oxford dumpster overnight

Birmingham police have charged a Birmingham man with capital murder after a woman's body was found in a dumpster behind an Oxford drug store sunday night. 23 year old Justin Clarence McConico, has been charged with the murder of 20 year old Sara Aletha Mitchell, of Birmingham. He is being held at he Haralson County Sheriff's Office in Buchanan Georgia awaiting extradition. Mitchell's body was found about 8 p.m. Sunday in the dumpster behind theRite Aid pharmacy on hiway 78 in Oxford. The body was transported back to Birmingham because that's where investigators believe the slaying happened. Birmingham police say Mitchell was last seen on July 31, when family members reported her missing.
