Anniston woman out of jail less that a day arrested on burglary charges



Authorities say that An Anniston woman , out of jail for less thatn 24 hours is back behind bars charged with burglary.  Calhoun County Sheriffs deputies charged 20 year old Crystal Vantrica Williams with third-degree burglary after a neighbor spotted her breaking into a home Friendship Road in Oxford.  Deputies responded after a resident drove by the house on Friendship Road and noticed two people on the front porch he knew did not live at the residence. The witness drove back past the house and noticed a screen door on the front lawn and an open window. The man wrote down the license plate of a car parked in the driveway and called the Sheriff’s Office to report a burglary in progress.   Deputies used the tag number to locate Williams, who had been released from jail a day earlier. Williams had previously been arrested on additional burglary charges. A second suspect has been identified, but not been arrested,
