Anniston man charged with home break in

A 37 year old Anniston man is facing felony charges in connection with the July 24th burglary of a home on Knollwood drive. Clinton Michael Doyle, turned himself in at the Anniston Police Department and was charged with felony first-degree burglary.Police said Doyle was involved in the burglary with the victim's ex-wife, Rachel Coppock, who was also charged last week. Police say that Coppock and Doyle broke into the 30-year-old man’s home demanding that Coppocks ex-husband give her money, and the victim told her she needed to leave. Then Doyle entered the house, held a handgun to the victim’s head and threatened to kill him if he did not hand over the money. Coppock calmed Doyle down, George said, and the three walked outside. While outside, Doyle hit the victim in the face. The victim ran inside, locked himself in the home and called police. Doyle then attempted to break into the house and caused $100 in damage to a door. Coppock and Doyle fled before police arrived.
